Switch assemblies and EQ faders on all but 7 of the modules have been replaced. The remaining switch assemblies, faders, and bracket hardware are available to complete the desk.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBuilt by hand in the mid 70s in London, England, \u003cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003eTrident’s A-Range #13\u003c\/span\u003e was designed by Malcom Toft, Barry Porter, and Producer Roy Thomas Baker (Queen, The Cars, Devo). Originally intending on making only 12 A-Ranges, Trident was forced to follow through with their promise of a 13th, or face a hefty lawsuit from Cherokee Sound in Los Angeles, California.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOver the years, the Trident A-Range has become one of the most well-respected, indeed legendary, vintage recording consoles in the world. This particular console was known as 'Old Blue' (since #13 is the only A-Range powder-coated in dark blue). 'Old Blue' was in heavy use at Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, from the years of 1975-1983, and according to studio owner Bruce Robb it was used by some of world's greatest recording artists, on some of the finest recordings of all time. The buss section is designed as a matrix system for live music application, as this desk originally came from the Broadway show CATS. it is currently set up where the top 8 red buss faders are in use for the traditional recording buss applications and the bottom buss faders are not in use, but can be used for an array of set-ups. The EQ's \u0026amp; Mic Pres are very musical and the EQ can also be used to sculpt tones as well. All of the modules have been re-capped and very clean. Master section has 4 Aux, PFL, Monitor Master Control, Talkback level, Slate mic \u0026amp; Oscillator. Will come with copy of Trident manual. The power supply has been custom made and is quieter than the original Trident power supplies. The mixer has been well taken care of through the years.
